Independent OJS, OMP, and OPS Technical Support Center

Independent OJS, OMP, and OPS Technical Support Center provides independent technical support, platform setup, managed hosting, migration, upgrade, troubleshooting, customization, and annual support services for scholarly journals, universities, research centers, academic publishers, and editorial teams using Open Journal Systems (OJS), Open Monograph Press (OMP), and Open Preprint Systems (OPS).

We help journals and institutions launch, host, maintain, secure, improve, and manage scholarly publishing platforms, especially when they do not have an internal technical team or need specialized support for OJS, OMP, or OPS.

Our support is available in multiple languages, with Arabic and English as core support languages. Additional language support may be available depending on the project scope.

  • Upgrade and Migration: OJS version upgrades, host-to-host migration, domain changes, database and file transfer, and backup-first technical transitions.
  • Troubleshooting and Bug Fixing: PHP errors, internal server errors, blank pages, database issues, file permission problems, plugin conflicts, failed upgrades, and platform instability.

  • Theme and Interface Support: journal branding, homepage adjustments, layout improvements, multilingual setup, and Arabic right-to-left display support.
  • Training and Workflow Support: practical support for journal managers, editors, editorial assistants, publishing coordinators, and technical administrators.

Ready OJS, OMP, and OPS Platforms

We provide ready-to-launch scholarly publishing platforms for journals, universities, research centers, academic publishers, and editorial teams that want a working publishing system without managing the full technical setup internally.

  • OJS: for scholarly journals, peer review, editorial workflow, issue publication, metadata, and article management.
  • OMP: for academic books, monographs, edited volumes, book series, and university press workflows.
  • OPS: for preprint servers, early research dissemination, and institutional research sharing.

Ready platform services may be provided as setup-only services if you already have hosting, or as launch packages with managed hosting and first-year support according to the agreed scope.

Managed Hosting and Annual Support

In addition to one-time technical services, we provide managed hosting and annual technical support plans for journals and institutions that need continuous maintenance, backups, email support, plugin configuration, security review, platform monitoring, and periodic technical assistance.

Annual support is suitable for journals and institutions that prefer not to manage technical maintenance internally and need a reliable support process throughout the year.

Important: Annual hosting and support plans do not automatically include major upgrades, legacy-version upgrades, large migrations, damaged-platform recovery, custom development, or unlimited emergency support unless clearly stated in the quote.
