Scopus Publication Support Center respects the privacy and confidentiality of all clients, including faculty members, researchers, research teams, PhD candidates, master’s students, and other academic clients who submit materials for assessment or service delivery.
This policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and handle personal information, manuscripts, data files, reviewer comments, thesis or dissertation materials, and other academic documents submitted to us.
1. Information We Collect
When you contact us or submit a request, we may collect information such as:

- Phone or WhatsApp number

- Academic level or professional role

- Deadline and service requirements
- Payment-related information when applicable

3. How We Use Submitted Information
We use submitted information and files only for purposes related to the requested service, including:
- Assessing the request
- Preparing a quote
- Assigning a suitable expert or service provider
- Delivering editing, analysis, formatting, journal selection, reviewer response, or publication support services
- Communicating with the client about the project
- Managing payments, milestones, and delivery
- Improving service quality and internal workflow
We do not sell client data, research files, manuscripts, or personal information to third parties.
4. Confidentiality of Academic Work
All manuscripts, data files, research ideas, reviewer comments, thesis chapters, dissertation materials, and related documents submitted to Scopus Publication Support Center are treated as confidential.
We do not publish, share, distribute, or disclose submitted materials except when necessary to deliver the requested service or when required by law.
5. Who May Access Client Files
Client files may be accessed only by authorized individuals involved in assessing, managing, or delivering the requested service. These may include:
- Project coordinators
- Scientific editors
- Academic language editors
- Statistical analysts
- Methodology consultants
- Journal selection consultants
- Formatting specialists
- Administrative staff involved in service coordination
Access is limited to what is necessary for the specific service requested.
6. Data Storage and Security
We take reasonable measures to protect submitted files and personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Clients are encouraged not to submit unnecessary sensitive information unless it is directly required for the service.
7. Third-Party Tools and Service Providers
We may use secure third-party tools or platforms for communication, file storage, payment processing, document editing, statistical analysis, or workflow management. These tools may process information only as required to support service delivery.
Where possible, we aim to use reliable tools and limit access to client materials.
8. Payment Information
When online payment tools, bank transfers, or third-party payment gateways are used, payment information may be processed by external payment providers. Scopus Publication Support Center does not store full card details unless explicitly handled through a secure and authorized payment system.
9. Communication Privacy
We may communicate with clients by email, WhatsApp, contact forms, or other approved communication channels. Clients are responsible for ensuring that the contact information they provide is accurate and secure.
10. Client Responsibility
Clients are responsible for ensuring that they have the right to submit the materials provided to us. Clients should not submit confidential institutional, private, restricted, or third-party materials unless they are authorized to do so.
11. File Retention and Deletion
We may retain submitted files and project records for a reasonable period for service delivery, revision support, administrative records, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
Clients may request deletion of their files or personal information by contacting us. Some records may need to be retained where required for payment, administrative, legal, or compliance purposes.
